AlunaGeorge: are an English electronic music duo from London, consisting of Aluna Francis (vocals) and George Reid (production). It was announced on 6 December 2012 that AlunaGeorge had been shortlisted for the 2013 BRIT Award of Critics’ Choice. Then, on 9 December the BBC announced that the duo had also been nominated for the Sound of 2013 poll; from which they finished in second place.

London Grammar: are a trio from London composed of Hannah Reid, Dan Rothman and Dot Major. After first meeting at university in Nottingham the band fully formed and has been in the studio writing and recording their début album. The forthcoming first EP ‘Metal & Dust’ drawing comparisons to the likes of The XX, Portishead and Radiohead with the vocal like Lana Del Rey and Adele.

Bastille: are a band from South London, England, formed in 2010. Bastille started out as a solo project by singer-songwriter Dan Smith, who later decided to form a band. The quartet consists of Dan Smith, Chris ‘Woody’ Wood, Will Farquarson and Kyle Simmons. The name of the band comes from Bastille Day; the day Dan Smith was born.

CHVRCHES: (pronounced as “churches” and sometimes stylized as CHVRCHES) are a Scottish alternative electronic band from Glasgow, formed in 2011. The group consists of Lauren Mayberry (main vocals, occasionally synthesizers), Iain Cook (synthesizers, vocals), and Martin Doherty (synthesizers, vocals).

Disclosure: are a garage-house duo consisting of brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence. The siblings grew up in Reigate, Surrey with an extensive background in music. They supported SBTRKT and Hot Chip on their recent 2012 tours. Their single “Latch” featuring Sam Smith reached number 11 on the UK Singles Chart

Bondax: aka George Townsend and Adam Kaye —a pair of 17-year-old, Lancaster-hailing producers mutually fond of “romantic vibes,”

Gabrielle Aplin:  (born 10 October 1992) is an English singer-songwriter from Sutton Benger, Wiltshire. Aplin gained a following online after publishing acoustic covers of songs by bands such as Paramore and You Me at Six on YouTube.

Glamour Lakes: is an Australian artist releasing his first album on the 14th of jan.

Kendrick Lamar: (born June 17, 1987) is an American rapper. He hails from Compton, California, currently signed to Top Dawg, Aftermath, and Interscope. Lamar is a member of hip hop supergroup Black Hippy, along with fellow West Coast rappers and label mates Jay Rock, Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul. He first gained major attention after the release of his fourth mix tape, Overly Dedicated, in 2010.

Tom Odell: is a British singer-songwriter from Chichester, who studied at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music. Signed to Columbia Records, Odell made his television début on 30 November 2012 as a performer on Later… with Jools Holland. He released his début extended play, Songs From Another Love, on 15 October 2012; with a studio album set to succeed it on 17 June 2013

Ms Mr: Consisting of Brooklyn duo Lizzy and Max, the pair are ready to release their début album in May 2013, following masses of online buzz for their 2011 EP Candy Bar Creep Show and song ‘Hurricane’.

Rudimental: are a music quartet from Hackney, London and are signed to Asylum Records and independent label Black Butter. The quartet consists of songwriters and producers Piers Agget, Kesi Dryden, Amir Amor and DJ Locksmith. The group rose to prominence in 2012 when their single “Feel the Love”, featuring singer John Newman, topped the UK Singles Chart.[1] The group have released further singles since including “Not Giving In”, also featuring John Newman and Alex Clare.

Azealia Banks: (born May 31, 1991) is an American rapper and singer. Originally from Harlem, New York, Banks at a young age pursued an interest in musical theatre before eventually becoming interested in a career as a recording artist. She adopted the pseudonym “Miss Bank$” and began releasing her music onto the internet in early 2009.
